Our bread comes from Little Home Bakery, a German bakery in Morley. Here's their story and how we order fresh loaves every day.

Every sandwich starts with the bread, and ours comes from Little Home Bakery, a German bakery based in Morley.
Little Home Bakery's story goes back to the early 1990s, when German baker George Plesch started bringing traditional European-style breads and rolls to Perth venues. In 2005 the bakery was taken over by Glenn Marder, a German master baker, and his wife Carmen, a qualified pastry chef. In 2024 it entered its next chapter under Andrew Harpur, with the same commitment to traditional baking and premium ingredients.
Little Home Bakery's wholesale team works 365 days a year, delivering early each morning across metro Perth to hotels, restaurants, coffee shops and more. Their bread is made with a sourdough starter that's been going for 26 years, and they also make a dedicated gluten free range, Gala, in its own purpose-built premises.
Every afternoon we plan the next day's menu around the season, the weather and what's been selling, then order the exact number of loaves we need from Little Home Bakery. The bread arrives fresh the next morning and every loaf is used that same day. No leftovers, no yesterday's bread.
It's a simple system, and it only works because we have a baker we can count on to deliver fresh, every single day.
